so don't make fun of me for shopping at CU, but I was there for a non-media related issue and I saw some 15 disc spindles of those sweet TDK 2X DVD-R.
I asked if they were getting some bigger spindles, and the manager said that this was a "test" for them, and if it went well, that was the way it would go, CD-R style.
you know what that will mean for prices...

Comp USA in my area has spindles of Pioneer, FMI, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Verbatium and 2-3 other brands. Your choice of 20-250 spindle packs.
It's this way for over a year. If your CU doesn't have 'em in stock, you can usually order online, although not all products are listed. You can also speak with a manager to special order things for you, that's how I get my 180 spindles of Verbatiums.
Of course your millage may vary. I've been a good friend to the local manager for over 6 years, so I may be getting "special" treatment. -
i do get mine online, but i hope to not have to soon. this is the compusa in greater seattle area
