  1. Hi there,

I just bought a Pioneer 535 as everybody says it is a great player for SVCD. In fact it plays SVCD, but in a very jerky and jumpy way - quite unwatchable !!!!
I use TMPEGenc J to encode and Nero latest version to burn. All just using compliant templates.
I wonder what I should do to eliminate all that jerkiness.

    Thanks for your help,

    Rick

    Hi

I have a pioneer dv 535 and have no problems with vcd's/svcd's what speed are you burning them at.
I find that I have to burn at x2 not max to ensure they
    work ok.
I know it may sound strange, but b4 you play your vcd, put in a pukka gen dvd in first let it play for a couple of seconds, then put your vcd back in. that works on mine

  3. Hi mate,

thanks for your help. I always burnt them at 4x at least if not 12x.

I'll try at 2x or 1x and let's hope that was the only problem,

    thanks again
