    Ok i want to capture video from my NTL digitalset top box (or from the actual TV...whichever) and i was wondering what card should i get and what cables do i need (bear in mind im upstairs and the TV/Box is dowstairs)....? Im only looking for someothing cheap to record music videos or whatever

    1) AverTv capture card (£40-50)
    2) Scart adapter (to plug in video and audio cables)
    3) composite video lead
    4) 2 phono to one stereo jack audio lead.
    5) PowerVCR2 capture software
