    Let me start by saying i'm kinda a newbie still (but pick programs pretty quick). My favorite DVD Authoring software to date is Sonic Foundry's DVD Architect. I like the Dazzle's DVD Complete feature which allows overtures. They are cool little personalizing features. My questions:

    1) can these be put in with any authoring software? if so, how?

    2) does anyone know where to download pre-made ones of various contents?

    #1) Yes, just make the overture your first play video. When it finishes the top level menu will appear.

    #2), Sorry, don't know.

    i appreciate you taking the time to respond.

    i don't see how to do that with Sonic Foundry's DVD Architect. , what program do you recommend?

    Have not tried DVD architect but you can certainly do this in SpruceUp, DVD Maestro, Ulead DVD WS, Sonic DVDit and probably a few others.
