I have three computers but I can only play DVD's ripped to my HD on one of them. The other two keep saying the region is wrong for playback. How can I make the other two region free. I've tried DVD Genie with no luck, yet I got it to work on one of them? What am I doing wrong?

Make sure that you use an up-to-date program to rip the DVD to your HD, and make sure the ripper is De-CSSing the data (ripping out the copy protection) if the DVD has been ripped to your hard drive properly, the movie will no longer be region-specific.
Odd

Edit: Oh, I see now, I misinterpreted what you were saying. The one PC you got it to work on probably has a DVD-ROM that either has region-free firmware (The BIOS on the DVD drive) or software installed that causes it to act as if it were. Look up the make and model of the other two DVD-ROM drives and see if region-free firmware is available for them. You might want to get on google first and research what this entails, just search for "DVD region free firmware".
Good Luck,
Prospero
