    I am using intervideo windvr 2 to capture homevideo (samsung hi8), wich works very well picturewise BUT, immediately when I start windvr, the line in recording level is muted. So I canīt get any sound.... Any clues anybody? Any help is very much appreciated! My system is: XP 2100+, geforce4 ti 4200 VIVO, Philips rythmic edge soundcard. And the sound is working fine in fx virtualdub.....

    I've had similar problems with other soundcards and other software.
    I couldn't get round it!!
    Only way was to change soundcards.
    Stupid question but you have setup the audio recording device properly?
    E.g. line in.
