Personal thanks to Baldrick

I would like to personaly just say THANK YOU very much to Baldrick.
I have been doing VCDs for almost 2 years and consider my self pretty advanced. Last week I finally decided to spend the $$$$$$$ and get a DVD burner. Pioneer DVR-105. (plus some DVD-RW, no coaster at these prices, LOL). Of course the capturing, encoding no problems at all.
The authoring on the other hand is another story. The software that came with the drive was MYDVD by Sonic. Horror show, because it transcodes the audio to LPCM, a total waste of space. I don't see any way to change this setting and have read all the documentation. Another authoring software i tried was pinnacle 8.5, slow is the major word for this one, unnessasary bullshit everywhere. So I downloaded the demo for Ulead DVD movie factory2, nice program, everything seemed to work good, till i noticed that it totally de-sychs the audio. Now What?? I asked myself, so I read Baldricks guide on authoring DVDs with just freeware, Ifoedit, Imgtools, and DVD decrypter. Well guess what??????
IT WORKED PERFECT!!! Ok so no chapter, or menus, but so what. For now
I'm capturing all my favourite stuff and watching it on HI-QUAL DVD's all with freeware.
So my very personal thanks to Baldrick, and as for the $45 bucks I ALMOST spent on Uleads software will be getting spread around to the authors of guides and the coders who write the freeware (more than $45, I hope)
