now i have $251.02 and he already has a 200gb h/d, cd burner, dvd burner and monitor he needs ram and a decent card that can run newer games like bf1942 and postal 2 and such cause he wants to use it as a gaming/video editing pc (he wont listen to me when i tell him 600$ aint really gonna get him much but i am trying to help him out ) so yea any info on these products, links to better deals or anything useful would be very helpful.

For a video card maybe the Radeon 9500 (dx9 card) which is fast and cheap.

The Radeon 9500 IMO is going to be a much faster card than the Ti200 however if you need the TV out then there is no contest.

Ok now i have a problem...gotta find another mobo without intergraded audio cause he doesnt want that so i can't find any on newegg.com without intergraded audio for a p4 2.4 can anyone recommed one?

Yea most now aday come with either onboard lan,video or audio i told him to just deal with it!

my vote is go get the 128mb ati radeon 9500 pro 4 a little bit more and if you want to mess with rebates then get him a 120gig drive for 40 bux after rebate & coupon @officemax more storage better frame rates for games for details on the harddrive go to the forums@http://www.fatwallet.com/ nuff said
