    hey all -

is there an ISO tool that will extract files from an iso created with DVD Decrypter?

I've tried WinISO as that's all I had handy, and it couldn't read the file.

I've noticed that my dvd-rom rips a hell of a lot faster in ISO mode, I figured if I could rip in 8 minutes and then extract files in 5-10 with an ISO tool, that would be a 40 minute rip in File mode, but so far, no love.

Anyone done this? Anyone know a good tool (preferably freeware, or at least something I can try before buying)?

    Thanks for any info.

Use Daemon Tools. It mounts the iso image so that it acts just like a DVD-Rom. Basically it creates a fake dvd-rom and acts like you burnt the image and have the disk in the drive. From there you can do whatever you want with it, play it like the original dvd, copy the files to another folder on your hard drive etc...

I always rip to iso, mount the image, and then do all my processing from there. This way, you always have a perfect copy on the hard drive so you don't have to worry if you accidentally delete or modify one of the files.

Daemon tools is free btw, you can find it in the tools section most likely.
