I'm not sure why TDK is there twice
. If you want to vote for TDK use the top one.

Princo DVD-R white top - $1.20cdn ea. for a spindle of 100. -
I was gonna mention the same thing a few others did regarding price...Verbatim "not on sale" and TDK as well as "Maxell" are far from considered "budget" disks. The cheapest Maxell I have seen are $2.50 a piece and that's far from a budget. With TDK and Verbatim, a 50 pack spindle cost more then some decent DVD PLAYERS!
I think those media should be exluded from that list because they aren't budget media, however, my vote has to go for ACCU all the way! -
My favorites from this list are the white topped, unbranded TDK's. Unfortunately, my supplier says that TDK has discontinued these discs and is not supplying a replacement, so it looks like I'm searching for new budget discs.

Best Buy is now selling spindles of 15 Verbatim DVD-R for $30. Considering that buying from some of the online merchants has become a crap-shoot regarding what you will receive, this is a decent price.

I would have to go off the listed ones and say Taiyo Yuden. I don't care how much the cost.

What about the Optodisc media, I have pretty good success with them. You can get them for about $0.81 per each US. I Usually get them from http://www.supermediastore.com occsionally from RIMA or other. 8)

Xblackout,
I noticed that you mentioned that you also use OPTODISC. I ordered my first 50 pack of them from supermedia outlet as well. I'm curious as to how long have you been using them and with what drive and firmware. I haven't been able to find much in the way of info on them on any site and or forum that I have scouted out. 44$ is def not a bad price to spend on 50 thats for sureHopefully they work out seen as I have read so many negative posts about the dvr-105's select line of media.

I have been using the Ritek G03 from Rima.com and have not made a coaster yet...
Use what works for you... -
All G03 is cool but as there is new wave of budget disks hitting the market it can only be good news for the customer.
I was an avid Ritek user until Christmas when they though putting the prices up in the UK would make poeple love them, since then I have had no trouble with X4 princo disks of which Datawrite X4 and the new Bulkpaq Tango's are made by.
bring them on. -
I get mine for .85 a disc and I have never had a coaster after over 1000 discs burned, seems like you guys are really overpaying for your media!
