  1. I'm having some problems and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. After I have ripped a dvd and converted to mpeg, when I burn a vcd the audio I get is usually the director of the movie telling about how he made the movie instead of hearing the actors in the movie. If anyone could advise me as to what I'm doing wrong I would appreciate it.

Assuming you use dvd2avi I suggest to select a different audio track in dvd2avi. Smartripper 2.31 or newer gives you a INFO.txt file with all dvd informations incl. the audio tracks.

  4. if you use Flask 6.0 preview you can listen to the different tracks to determine which you need. Typically though it it always the first track listed, though not always

  5. Thank you Hollywood for your help. I didn't have the 6.0 version, but I went to their web site and downloaded it. It was great to be able to listen to the tracks before you start converting them. That was exactly what my problem was. Again, thanks for your advice.
