Hi...I want to be able to make microDVDs of TV captures, but I also want to keep the captions that are present on the TV set. What I was wondering is this:
If I capture the TV video with captions included, can I somehow use a program like subripper (I know it works on VOBs) and do a OCR conversion to make a subtitle file?
I'm sure that I'd have to convert the TV captured avi to another format first in order for something like subripper to work (if it can at all)...Can I convert the capture to a VOB and then use subripper like I would from a normal DVD rip.
I was then planning on capturing a second file of the same video (without captions) and create a microDVD with the subtitles (extracted from the first vid) synced in.
Is this possible??
Thanks for any helpAnd sorry for the length of this message
