64 bit programs require 64 bit codecs. You have to download and install a 64 bit build of ffdshow:
https://www.videohelp.com/download/ffdshow_rev4052_20111120_clsid_x64.exe
After installation it will show up under Start -> All Programs -> ffdshow x64 -> Video Decoder Configuration.
well it seems I did have 64 bit of ffdshow for win xp but wmv3 codec isn't working still
Natty(theNutter),
WinXP 64 was little more than a successful 64bit experiment. I'd highly recommend going to Win7 64bit if you want to stay in the Win64 environment.
On a side note:
GO TO THE THEATER TO SEE THE F*CKING MOVIE!!!! :ideias: :boid: :oopsblush:
Sorry, I feel better now. With all due respect, I recommend fully installing each the following codec packs:
K-Lite
CCCP
Win7codecs
XP Codec Pack
A link to each can be found in the tools section on this site. Once installed one or more should clear up any codec issues you may have.
Happy Holidays! :D
WTF do you think you are calling me Natty(theNutter) Im sure you are not innocent yourself and have downloaded illegal copys. so dont go calling me names ok FH. I'm 95% convinced most on here have done it sometime or another come on man get real. what you a saint then Hmmm don't think so somehow
And here I am actually trying to help you out.... Nice. Install the codec packs and be done with it.
Just the screener thing. I'm over it now ... don't worry about. Usually just a couple of the codec packs will do but shouldn't be a problem if you use all four.
yes I enabled those settings on the ffdshow config for 64 bitQuote:
Did you enable the decoders in the 64 bit version?
You know, it's always helpful when you provide more information, not less.
Thanks, so can you use all 4 of those codecs then on xpQuote:
