hi could someone pls help me back to burning movies again that are downloaded
first trying to find a good avi viewer
what codec do i need to convert from all types
what is the best dvd burning program now used to use tmpg
what else would i need

If you're still a newb after SEVEN F---ING YEARS, there's just no helping you. I do give you credit for still actually knowing how to get here, but i have to take away that point, since you still haven't learned to write yet.

Maybe if you'd participate a little more and have more than 1 post per year, you'd be able to solve all of your problems yourself

Try VLC for viewing most any format. No codecs to install.

For easy converting to DVD, try ConvertXToDVD or freeware, FAVC. Or there are other all-in-one converters, look to our 'Tools' section.

For just burning, try ImgBurn. For freeware authoring, try GUI for dvdauthor.

There are actually people who use this site who don't sit in front of a computer screen 12 hours a day. Myself included.
And we don't Google a problem, as most of the Google hits are of manufacturers stating that their product fixes the problem. I ask questions here as I get many different opinions and advice on what product to try, and whether a product works or not.

a great all round player is KMPlayer it will play anything you throw at it, and is skinable, there are some great skins available from the home website.

ConvertX2DVD is good for converting to DVD, again will handle most video formats, allow you to create menus, and burn to DVD.

neither of the above require extra codecs installed

I mentioned them because of their popularity. ConvertX has a trial version and the other two are freeware, so you can compare them yourself.

Well... he never stated exactly what movies, or by name... so even though we assume and know they are prob. copyrighted movies, there is the off chance they are free domain movies or videos.............
