I am a tinkering person...so my machine is always changing. Is SVCD2DVD tied to your machine only? I notice it needs to access internet. Can I reinstall for ME ONLY on any machine or when I change stuff or reinstall XP?

Just need to know what my limitations are.

    It goes as follows:

You do not need internet access from the machine you are registering. It just makes it easier. It can be done manually, via email - and that can be from another PC.

Currently you get 3 "machine licences". Therefore you can install on more than one PC. Once a licence is 60 days old you get another one (up to a max of 3).... So, if you are talking about a single PC: you can reinstall your operating system 3 times in 60 days and you will be ok. If you tinker beyond this - just drop me an email and I will reset your license count.

In addition to this, if you reinstall or upgrade to a newer build: your existing license will be reused as long as your PC has the same operating system as it did before. Thus, in theory, you can install on 3 PCs simultaneously and keep them all up to date with the latest build.

Bottom line - if it is for sole use, there is no issue.

I mess with my machine about 3 times a YEAR....so I am ok. Thanks for the info. I could not find it on your web page....maybe you should put it on there up front.

If it already is my apologies.
