    Hi all,

    I am wondering if someone can help me as i am losing it

    We have a DGTEC DVD recorder, and have burnt files from the HDD onto a DVD-R, but arent able to view them on any other DVD players, or on our PC...

    When trying to open on our PC in windows it does not recognise the format it is written in

    Is this common on other DVD recorders (not being able to watch copied DVD's from our HDD) or are we doing something wrong?

    desperately needing some help

    Have you closed / finalized the disc?
    Have you tried it on another dvd reader / computer?
    Have you tried another dvdr media?

    how do you finalise/close the disc?? there is nothing obvious on the remote or the options that directs you to how to do this...

    Is there a "Disc Edit" menu... that's where it would normally be.
