Problems Converting MP4 to DVD

I am using ConvertXtoDVD. I am trying to convert a MP4 to DVD, it appears to work fine. However, when convert is completed and burned, the DVD has sound but no image. The DVD seems to be fine except no image. The menu works (albiet without image/ the screen is black) Also, when converting, there is video in the video preview screen. Finally, when playing the MP4 with VLC the screen is black but has audio. How can I fix this? Please help.

Maybe just try convert with something else like the free dvd flick or favc.

If still same problems then give us details from the mp4, use mediainfo, open mp4, view->text and copy and paste the information in this topic.

are you saying that when you try to play the original mp4 the screen is black? open it with gspot and see if it says you are missing the codec to play it.
