  1. Issue #1 - I have a decrypted DVD with audio commentary option; when I rip it with DVD-SHRINK (full disc or reauthor) I uncheck the audio commentary box, but the ripped VOB's still have that voice over - how do I get rid of it?

Issue #2 - I have video files with english subs in a separate folder, but not in .SRT (only as .SUB) - neither Handbrake nor Xmedia Recode will import SRT subs - any ideas?

    Thanks to all!

  2. #1 - What did you decrypt it with? Maybe not all the protection was removed and you have a 'crossed stream' situation.
    #2 - https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/167667-Convert-sub-idx-to-srt-subtitles then I use XviD4PSP to burn them in.

  3. DVDShrink and DVD Decrypter did their job. I opened the new files with Handbrake and it gave me the audio option to select only the english track w/o commentary. The first trick being to decrypt as full disc, not re-authored.

Still working on the subtitles issue - can't find a program that will load .SUB files (although Handbrake accepts .SRT)

    Thanks for the advice!

  4. DVDShrink and DVD Decrypter did A job. They are both over 10 years old and have never been updated since 2004/2005.
Try a modern decrypter and see if it makes a difference: http://sharewareonsale.com/s/winx-dvd-ripper-platinum-freebie-sale.
