  1. Hi!

    I'm a bit of a newbie in DVD-r copy.

I have made backups of DVD movies with DVD X Copy. It works fine on a Pioneer DVD stand-alone player. But I can not get them to work on my own Philips LX3000. The player just start up the Mp3 menu and won't play the movie.

Any suggestions how I can fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance!

    Best regards,

  2. It says here (see link) that the player only supports mp3's up to 256kbs also only file names up to 12 characters. Take a look at the specifications and reads the user notes it may help.

Hmm I see you're having a movie problem not mp3. Mybe try having DVDX Copy process the movie to your hard drive and use another program to burn. Also try another brand of media.

  3. Hi

If I understood it right. When you back up a DVD with DVD X Copy it should work like the original movie.

My player wont even get to the startup menu. Probaly because it try to start it with the Mp3-menu, which of cource is blank while there is no Mp3 on the DVD.

I use Princo single speed DVD-R. Burned with Pioneer 105.

What will I have to do to make it work???
