    Can anyone help with getting rid of the region lock on my Samsung SD-616 DVD ROM drive. It came together with my Dell system.

    If a "hack" is not available- would a reinstall of the software clears up and locks it may have?

    another way is to decrypt with dvd-decrypter than patch it to make the files region free, using the region patch in dvd-decrypter
