  1. Hi!

    If i burn a dvd movie with a good program that they have here..will a be able to watch it on a standard dvd player. (on the tv).

    If not..please tell me how in that case.

    take a look at the "DVD Players" section on the left-hand side of this screen.

    Look up your dvd player and make sure it will accept DVD-R or DVD+R or whatever you plan on burning.

    If your player doesn't accept DVD-R (like my old Samsung 511), then you are out of luck unless you get a new player.

  5. or you could do a TV output from your computer if your video card supports it. Here in the dorm at college for me it is watch something on my 14 inch monitor or 13inch tv. I stick with the monitor as its less of a hassle than running tv out and its bigger than the tv anyways

  6. ok, James...but i prefer to watch movies on my 36 inch tv with dts surround sound instead of on the computer...and i hate to pull cables and crap from my computer to the tv. For me its much easier to just have the movie on a dvd-r.
