  1. If there is some bad frames (sqaure appears for a few second) is there anyway I can fix the file some that the video can be played smoothly

    You can try running it through VCDGear. It has a 'Fix MPEG Errors' option when using the 'Mpeg to Mpeg' tool, that will sometimes correct bad frames. You can find it in the TOOLS section.

  3. vcd gear doesn't seems to correct bad frames is said it fixed errors but when I play the file nothing was changed. anyone know what other program that is good for fixing bad frames for mepg files

  4. I don't think there is a way to FIX the frames that are corrupted. If there is, I haven't heard of a method. I'd probably delete the frames if it's that distracting.
