Hi.
Is it possible to record/capture 2 television shows from different channels simultaneously into my hard disk? I currently have a PixelView PlayTV HD tuner/capture card and couldn't find any info on how to record 2 TV shows at the same time, without the aid of a VCR.
Thanks.

To get multiple channels, you need multiple tuners. I don't know of any cards that have more than one.

The tuner in your capture card is a hardware device that is only capable of tuning in one channel at a time. Theoretically, you may be able to capture two channels at one time using two capture cards, but I'm not sure what software you would be able to use. It will have to allow multiple instances running at the same time with different hardware configurations. More likely you'll have to use software from two different companies. You'll also need a fairly fast computer and more than likely seperate hard drives to keep up.
