    I recommend the Leadtek Winfast "Deluxe" TV2000XP. There $54.99 with free shipping at newegg.com. Over 150 positive reviews also. My cousin has one, I've played around with his alot. Im pretty sure it can do exactly what your trying to do with this card.

  6. The Prolink Xcapture or TV PVR both have the new conexant chipset i personally have both and they rule!! noise free, a bit tricky to get it to work the tv pvr that is with showshifter but once you get it it rules xcapture is 39.00 the tv pvr is 69.

  7. avermedia card nice budget one mpeg 1 and two no marcovision problems, solid tv tuner, , wouldnt buy a more expensive one, depends if you are going to use it after you have transfered if you are then spalsh out.

    Everything under $200 is pretty much the same. Just buy what's on sale since money, rather than quality, is your determining factor.
