Hello! I opened VDub and opened my video file, a message about VBR MP3 pops up. So I went and followed the guide at Doom9.org on conversion with TMPGEnc. I extracted the WAV file.

But, then the guide says that if when you open TMPGEnc and you cannot open your video file, you'll have to go into VDub to extract the video. That error message did not pop up for me. And the guide does not say what to do if the message don't pop up. So am I supposed to open the original video for Video Source and then open the extracted WAV file for the Audio Source? Or should I go along and extract the video as well?

I always just use the original file as the video source and the wav as the audio source. 8)
