  1. seems no matter how I try i cannot backup shrek...i have tried it on 2 disks, and so on. I have dvdcopy, instant copy and a few other programs but have yet to try them. I am trruly a begginer at this sort of thing. I also have a sony dru-500ax, 2.8 intel, 200gig hd, rampage 8500 video card and a dvd drive as well in the machine...

    if you just want to back it up (it cannot be played on DVD players, this is just for storing it on, but can be played back on PC only) you can simply use a cd writing software and copy it to disc as data (will fit on 1 disc)
    On the other hand if you want to make it a VCD (so it is playable on some dvd players) you need to split the film in to two and copy each part on to 2 discs as VCD instead of data.

  3. Which version of the shrek dvd do you have,single disc or special edition 2 disc?the uk 2 disc version has the film on both discs [widescreen and full screen] disc two after you remove the extras with dvd decrypter is around 4gb for the main film,disc 1 film only is about 4.8gb.
