    Does anyone know of any authoring software for Divx or Mpeg4? I know there are some for DVDs, VCDs and SVCDs, so far Divx movies can be played just like mp3 files !!

    I have no idea what you are asking? You don't author DivX, since it doesn't play in 99.99% of standalone players (the ones that do use file mode). You can encode DivX, with a variety of programs.
