DVD Data Disk

I have quite a lot of Text and Pitcure files I wanted to put on a blank DVD Disk so it can be read in a DVD ROM Drive, I was wondering what was the best programme to use for this and is there anything I should no, is it different to say backing up a DVD movie which I have no problem with. On my first attempt the DVD Rom drive does'nt even detect the disc. is there a guide on how to do this, I have trawled all over the forum and could'nt find anything. Help please?

your dvd rom may not be able to read -r , +r discs
you will prob have best luck with -r ,i have a lg and she wont read + r discs burnt as data disc but will play dvd video even if burnt on dvd+ r
cant figure it out my self
try using a different burning progran -make sure the disc is finalised -

I have tried every burning programme known to man still no joy. Surely we are not the only ones experianceing this problem.

Do a search for Gear DVD

Trial download

For me it will burn data and video to a dvd-r disc with no problem.

Plus it's fast.

I've burned some data disks with RecordMax Now and Nero, both work perfect.

Make data DVD with Nero.
ISO9660 - Mode 1 - Level 1 - Joliet
Maybe even relax restrictions if needed.
Work fine in every DVD-ROM I ever tried.
99.99% of DVD-ROMs can read DVD-R/DVD+R just fine.
