I just converted some music video clips to mpeg on my hard drive to re-burn as the file was in .dat form. Anyway, in the properties of the song it says its in NTSC format. How can I change it to PAL format while its on my hard drive before burning it?
Also, is it better to burn it as a vcd or a svcd??
To make a svcd do you need MPEG2 instead of MPEG1, if so how do you convert it?

Use tmpgenc.
From the wizard select pal - open your ntsc file and then convert.
SVCD allows for better quality. You select this at the same time that you choose ntsc and pal.
If you need any more info post back -
'hardcoreruss' that doesnt work sorry. theres no conversion and it came up with error saying it can't do it. is there an easier tool I can use instead?
