  1. Since we are debating the veracity of sales people at Meritline, I thought I would relate my experience with this company. A couple of weeks ago I ordered 50 Ritek G03 from their web site because their add on the web stated they carry the riteks with the dark purple die. Instead of G03 media I ended up with old G02 media which is not any where near as reliable as the G03. I am currently in the process of trying to return these for credit. Having to waste my time because ******** at Meritline (intentionally?) sent the wrong media is annoying. I think many of these web front stores intentionally use bait and switch tactics because they know the majority of purchasers will get frustrated by the effort required in returning unwanted merchandise. Buyer beware.

You also told me that I called people "dumb" which I have NEVER done. When I asked you about that, you changed your tune. Learn to read buddy. Reading is fundamental. I did call out aybesea, because I know they are full of mularky.

    They know they are full of it and so does EVERYONE who has ever contacted either meritline or cdrdvdrmedia.com. I could really care less, I was making a point that REGARDLESS of whether or not aybesea was full of it or not, THEY were the ones still responsible. Not the credit card company. It is buyer beware, and aybesea got the short end of the stick. That's just too damn bad.

    @digitaljim, I think you should check out the meritline thread because almost every one of the people who posted in that thread had positive experiences with meritline. I know it sucks that you weren't one of those people, and i'd be pissed to, but I think you shouldn't just draw a conclusion of them trying to pull a bait & switch on you, when it could of been an honest mistake.

    Maybe it wasn't and it was bait and switch...that I don't know, but I do know that the MAJORITY have had positive experiences with meritline and cdrdvdrmedia.com and they have posted those experiences on this very site. 8)

    And I said you called people stupid, not dumb. Which was my mistake, I apologize because you didn't call people stupid, you called them SENSELESS. If you read carefully I didn't change my tune. I did respond to that statement in my previous post.

    The Meritline has seven people that were satisified with them(8 if you add yourself). So a wopping 8 people's opinions count, but the opinions on resellers ratings don't? So how can you say the MAJORITY when you've only read about 8 peoples opinions?

    The credit card company has policies that PROTECT their users from internet scams, so IF he really did get scammed, then they are responsible to a certain extent.

    My point is let people post their experiences and then let the readers judge. You however, just claimed when ever had a bad experience occurs, its either the buyer's fault OR a "honest mistake".

    Oh and you haven't stated any FACTS yet. From what I've read from your post, all you really have is, you have several others have had, what you felt, were good experiences from meritline/cddvdrmedia.

  5. Lanevo, if AFTER someone curses me out, my responding is considered "flaming" then so be it. What started this whole thing was that I called aybesea out on being full of shit. I am not backing down from that, because I KNOW what they said was complete bogus.

    Then you come on with the approach "how dare I" say they are lying when I wasn't there. Let me tell you something Lanevo regarding those "facts" you say I haven't presented. Sometimes there "aren't" facts in a matter.

    There are only statements in which inferences can be drawn. Some people just don't have common sense, it's obvious you are one of those people. Don't take that the wrong way, I don't want you to add a "flame" to my list. I, on the other hand, have plenty of common sense, and for the most part, can tell when someone is full of donkey shit.

    I gotta give "digitaljim" credit though, because he "manned" up with his actions. He ordered media and received a lower grade. Instead of him whining and crying about it, and trying to blame everyone else and get thier CC company involved, he said, hey, it's BUYER BEWARE and I should of been more aware.

    That is the approach anyone would take who can "own" up to taking a risk. Sure you can create some type of mularky, and if you say it enough, even you will start believing it. Just ask aybesea, they actually believe their bullshit. That's pretty damn sad.

    What makes aybesea even look like more of a joker is the fact that digitial jim had a LEGITIMATE gripe. They purchased G03 RITEK's while got GO2's. However, aybesea doesn't have a leg to stand on. They purchased ACCU, and received ACCU. One last time...it's BUYER BEWARE and aybesa's credit card company should refund that charge in an unorthodox manner.

    Do you know what flaming means? It doesn't matter who did it first, even a retaliation is called flaming. Regardless, Supreme2k initially didn't flame you in his first post.     So you want to base that he is lying because you have had a good experience with them. You keep saying that people ON this site that have posted about meritline/cdrdvdrmedia have had good experiences, so that is why he is full of crap. Which totals to about 8-10 people. Then when I point out resellersratings, you say, oh those a probably honest mistakes or there are screwballs. Of course you can't prove anything because you have none of the "facts" that you keep stating you have.

    What does "manned" up mean? It means its ok if you order from a store and get screwed. He is still being screwed, because he still doesn't have the G03s he paid for. He has is reasons for not returning it, but not everybody is like him. You make it sound like online shopping is like gambling. If you didn't get what you paid for, you should just eat up the losses. So what is wrong with someone returning something that he didn't pay for?

    In your last couple of posts you spend half the post saying "I KNOW" this and "I KNOW" that without any REAL supporting facts. When I point that out you say "I have the common sense to know" that he is lying because around 8 people have had good experiences with them and in your book that counts as the majority. When digitaljim states his experience, what you basically said he is a man, because he got screwed by the company and didn't do anything about it(digitial, I understand the frustration of returning media to a company, so your decision might be the right one).

    This is a forum and aybesea was just trying to state his experience. In no way did he say YOU were lying. All he basically said was, I got screwed by this company and the rest of you should watch out. In your initial posts responding to that is basically its not the company's fault and he is outright lying. I bet if you could respond to resellersrating's comments, you would argue against all the dissatisfied comments also.
