I don't care if this gets moved/deleted:
Meritline charged me $90 to ship 50 dvd-r and 2 day shipping on Thursday, 4/3/03.
UH- it's Wednesday night. They never showed up. I e-mailed meritline.com, and never heard from them in 5 days?
I've turned them in.

I only ordered from them one time last month. I ordered 100 4x DVD-R and they came three days later even though I had them shipped ground. Perhaps they just lost your orfer but then they should reply to your email.
-
when I ordered from Meritline, they sent me consistent updates about the status of my order, each one including a link to get to my account summary / order information and tracking numbers for the shipment.
Have you checked yours? What does it say? Do you have a tracking number?

I ordered 125 Meritline 2x media on Saturday 3/29 with 2nd day delivery. They shipped on Monday and I received them on Wednesday.
The 2x media works GREAT in my SONY -
I have a friend who uses them, though I myself do not, remember that when you pay for shipping on something you are paying for the time it takes to ship from them to you. Not the total time for the order, perhaps your order has been lost or delayed for some reason, I'd contact them and find out.

I beleive all these online comapnies just have a website and no inventory. If you notice most of them are located in socal espically right around the hacienda hights/ puente hills/ el monte area . It is becouse one inporter sends out all the orders. All these online comapnies just fwrd the order info to the media importer wearhouse and they ship it out.

UDPATE:
I finally heard from them. But I had started to deal with yahoo.shopping by now (Meritline.com uses them for their on-line commerce).
Delivery was confirmed for April 8, 2003 (2 days ago). It looks like UPS lost my package, but I do know that meritline owes me my shipping in a case like this. They have to file a claim with UPS since it was their problem.
I still don't have the discs though (4/10/03). -
FWIW, I just called SuperMedia and asked them if they were the same company as MeritLine (since I will never do business with MeritLine again). They assured me that they are a totally different, non-affiliated company.

For what it's worth I ordered 50 Ritek G03 from them but received Ritek G02 instead. I am still trying to get an RMA # from them to return for credit. As it stands now I consider them a bait and switch shop that you are better off avoiding.

I've used Meritline alot, from DVD-R's to Glossy DVD covers and I have yet to be disapppointed from them
-
I had some problems with them before. Ordered ACCU, received RITEK. They fixed problem without issue by lowering price as if they were RITEK. Media worked on my burner at that time so I was not disappointed too much. But I don't trust them anymore. It is issue with all these silver/purple media. Sellers ship whatever they have handy. Thanks for ADVDInfo

OH is another one of those Different company war!!
I think what we are all concerned about is the quality of the media.
I have tried several company and here is the brake down
*Meritline = Occasional Great price but service is Somewhat Shaky
*Cdrdvdrmedia = Affiliate company of Meritline.com
*Allmediaoutlet = Order twice from them but receive Grade B media
*Shop4tech = Occasional great Price Service are Somewhat Satisfied
*Supermediastore = Always full of suprises on Discount pricing Coupon and More. Service are Somewhat Satisfied.
So far I have tested several media from different store. Media include Accu From Meritline, Ritek from Allmediaoutlet, Matrix from Shop4tech and Optodisc from Supermediastore.
I personally like the optodisc. and RitekG03 grade A not Grade B. So far with the fluctuation of the dvd market i think the Best Priced media with reliable quality would have to be the Optodisc Gold.
May be the above info would be helpful to those that are still in lost in the wilderness of DVD Burning -

So, the " somewhat shaky meritline customer service" beats "somewhat satisfied supermedia service" here
Talking about price ( today)
DVDpro 100pack Meritline $87, Supermediastore $91
Ritek 100pack Meritline $115 with free cd wallet Supermediastore $115
Optodisc 100pack Meritline $84, Supermediastore $86
Accu 100pack, Meritline $90, Supermediastore does not have it
Samsung 100pack Meritline $154, Supermediastore does not have it
Again, the " Occasional great price" beats " full of surprise of discounting price " for each product here.
Plus meritline carry more brand name media products and far more options to purchase.

I've ordered from Rima twice and have never had any problems with them. They shipped my order on the same day I placed it both times.
-
I would say.... All of them are good if their price is lowest, until they will screw up somethink on your order
. So try any and good luck...

I too have ordered twice from rima.com and have had no problems whatsoever. They send updates and tracking numbers usually within a day or two.
They have a 100 pack of the Ritek DVD-R 4.7 GB, General use for $110 + $5.33 for UPS Ground in US.
They sell the Optodisc in 50 packs for 40$(branded) or 41$(gold or silver top) + shipping.
I have received my orders in under a week.Use what works for you...
