The subject pretty much says it all. I am backing up a dvd which contains the fullscreen and widescreen versions. I don't want the widescreen, so I only kept the fullscreen, and then I ripped the unnecessary audio streams and subtitles. This left me with plenty of space left on one blank DVD-R.
With minimal quality reduction (in Instant Copy.. which is what I used to take out the widescreen and audio streams of Disc 1) I can also fit Disc 2 (bonus features etc..) onto the same DVD-R as Disc 1.
My question is, how can I go about getting both discs to 1, keeping the menus for both. I can use Sonic ReelDVD to create an autoplay menu, which would allow you to choose between the two 'discs' (which would now be on the same DVD-R).... but does that mean I'd have to completely re-author the dvd, and recontruct the menu buttons on the existing menus to point to the correct video streams?
I guess I'm just wondeing if there is any easy way to do this. Ideally I'd like to be able to have 2 VIDEO_TS folders, but i'm pretty sure that's not possible. Thanks for all the help!

I don't think it's a confusing question, I just don't think there's a good way to do it, so that's why no one has replied.
The question has been asked before, but I've never seen a better answer than "rip and re-author the files"....
