Nero 5.5 Menu Creation Issues

Hi

I'm burning VCD's and SVCD's using Nero 5.5. I've tried and I've tried and I've tried but I can't get rid of this bar that goes across the menu. I've tried the Nero_Faker font and everything I can find but I can't get rid of this line. Does anyone out there know how to fix this?

If you mean the LINES under the Title and footnotes those are options which you can switch off in Nero under the Menu tab if I remember correctly. Just one of several check boxes, I can't get at it now, burning on that PC and Nero isn't installed on this one.

on the menu tab deselect the header and footer line check boxes...that should get ya

If I remember correctly, disabling the title and footer all together (unchecking the box beside them) at MOST removes the bottom line, but the top line is still there for some stupid reason. I actually e-mailed aHead about that a few months ago, and they said they forwarded my suggestion off to somebody... The latest version of NERO still does it

I solve that by "incorporating" my background into the "menu"

Looks like I'm in the same boat as HillJack. There is no option to shut off the header line. it appears to be part of the menu, whether you like it or not. if anyone has found a consistant way around it I'd appreciate the insite.

anyone figure out how to remover the header line? im about to try out the nero 5.5.4 but if it still has the header line i rather keep my old version. any info would be greatly appreciated

nero 5.5.4 still has the top line..

have you actually tried burning a disc yet? because nero menus don't author properly and won't work on most dvd players... although i seem to be finding a few that work now.

i have a phillips dvd 701 and nero 5.3 i think is what i have butnc vcds just fine.. i havent had trouble with it menus look ok justthat stupid top header bar ruins the looks for them. granted its not the best author software out there but for the price i still wish they would remove that bar
