I was wondering if there is a way to add background music to an avi file, without replacing the original sound. I have an avi captured from my camcorder and I want to add some soft background music but obviously I don't want to "cover up" the people speaking and such. Can this be done? I know how to simply replace the original audio with a music wave file, but I want both at the same time.

If you have any video editor, such as Adobe Premiere or Xpress DV, you can add you own background music and control the volume as well.

I use Pinnacle Studio 8 for my DV->DVD editing and it can do that. You can add Bacround Music and Voice Over (=2 dif.sounds).
Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home)
