  1. I just bought a new BTC DVD-ROM and installed it into my computer. But when i run the PowerDVD xp programs and install DOS DRIVER, it said the file MSCDEX.EXE is missing. So, i didn't install the DOS DRiver and moved on to install the PowerDVD. After i installed the program (without installing the DOS Driver), i can only play some dvds, and some DVDs I couldn't play. Then, I tried to install the DVDExpress and finally I could play DVDs that I couldn't play b4 I installed DVDExpress. However, when i restart my computer after installing DVDExpress, the problem comes again. It looks like the drive doesn't detect some of my DVDs. Is it the problem due to the DOS Driver isn't installed? If so, do you know where i can get the MSCDEX.EXE file that missing? Or where can i get the newest driver for PowerDVD to run properly on my computer? Or any suggestions? Greatly appreciate it.
P.S: if it's too confused for you guys to understand, let me know. I'll try to make it little clearer. thanks...

but that may not be the problem. I know I had a similar problem with my Pioneer until I updated the firmware. Maybe other members have an idea...?
