I have just copied two videos using winfast , the end result is perfect . However I need to delete some parts of one video then add it to the other. I used Tmpgenc went into merge & cut and put in both files, cut out what was not needed and then pressed run. The result was perfect joining but with the sound totally out of sync. Can anyone help giving me basic instructions without a lot of technical data.

Mate, on some SVCD/DIVX -> MPG2 using TMPEnc I've had exactly the same problem. The source is fine, the output is bollocks. I have tried everything I can think of, hopefully someone can help.
Here's one bizare problem I had. I had 2 SVCD MPGs. Both in perfect sync. Passed each file into TMPEnc to get a MPG2 compliant file that Ulead says is ok. then use the join tool in TMPENC, still OK. pass fail.
I think, but cannot be sure how to check this, that MPGs need to be cut on an I frame so I think my original files weren't ciut on an I frame and this is causing problems. I have no idea how to check this.
Still if you have any joy, please post your answer.
