i got my sony works pretty well..have about 300 burns..
i hate to see ppls complain about sony's burner no good
because they can not use some cheap dvd-r
it is like drvie a SL600 but use no brand 87 octain gas than complain about why his honda civic can use 87 octain gas but SL600 would mass up.
SONY STILL can use cheap medias..but not some really really cheap one!!! i got about 200 LEAD DATA disk..0.76 per disc, all works fine, around 150 of them even mark manufactor code with "SONY", oh ya. i always burn them with 2x without any problem! pionner have a good drive too, but there is no need to say sony have a bad drive because it won't write on some cheap medias!
