I'm in the process of converting several of my old VHS tapes to DVD, and am wonderiNG what the best method/encoder is. As i've already painfully learned, capturing to the bloated DV format, then re-encoding easily gets the best results. However, im wondering if it matters which DV capture app i use? So far i've used VideoStudio 7 and M$ Movie Maker to capture.
Also, i've been using TMPCENC to re-encode the DV files to fit onto my DVDs, i'm wondering however, what are the optiminal settings when using TMPCEnc for doing such conversions?
Thanks for the infos.
