  1. ok i worked on a dvd for like 3 days figuring out dolby digital and mpeg2 conversion now i finally got 3 1 hour videos on 1 disk using dolby digital audio but in the menu i linked 1 movie 2 times and 1 movie not at all i already deleted all the files cause i have limited disk space i know the other movie is on the disk cause i put it in the dvdrom and found it in one of the vobs now can i rip the vobs into 3 differerent mpeg2 files so i can just link it right or am i gonna have to convert my compressed files all over again?

  2. You should be able to rip it, and the re-author it. You won't have to encode it again as its already the correct size to fit on a dvd-r, Just rip it and use one of those proggies that puts the .vob's back together and demuxes it like DVD2AVI but uses .m2v for the vid instead of d2v
