  1. ? what program can i buy that would alow me to use mpg files that are over 138 minuts long to be reduced to fit on a dvd-r disc?

    but adjust for the minimal shrinkage , also can one select the quality of the audio as well

  2. ?!? MPEG file size is based of the bitrate and runtime. Use a bitrate calculator (look to the left under tools) to find the bitrates to fir your source runtime on a 4.3GB DVDR disc.

    The only way to change to the bitrate is to re-encode the MPEG (audio and/or video). You can do this with several programs: TMPGenc, CCE, MainConcept, etc. See the convert section to the left for more info on each program.
