  1. Can't seem to find a answer on this one. Installed latest Instant Copy along with the MovieOnly Hack and followed the guides here and on MrBass' site. Rip "all files" in File Mode with DVDecrypter and configure and run IC7 as in the guides.

Burning DVDs that don't require transcoding (less than 4GB after removing "DVD Fluff") works fine. They play beautifully!

But every time I burn one that is over the size limit and has to be transcoded, it freezes my standalone DVD player. It "Loads" then the screen goes black and the display stays at "--:--:--" ...I mean it totally locks it up and I have to reset the box!

Media, software, hardware and method used are all the same. Only difference is whether or not the main title needs transcoded. I could just rip it to ISO and use TMPGEnc to Transcode and then burn. But I'd rather just "load and go". Any suggestions as to why this could be happening or what I may be doing wrong?

    (PC Config in Profile)

    Thanks in advance!

  2. I had the same problem earlier. Ihavea pioneer 104/a04 with 1.31firmware (non-hacked) and a bunch of Ritek G03 media (2x stable on 1.31 firmware dvr-104/A04) When I began to burn at 1x (after some where at doom 9 it said the 2x burn would produce errors) I hadno more problems.

So I take it you didn't get IC7 to work properly?

shame cos you'll never know what you are missing

and if you wanna stick with anything stick with DVDShrink, it's free and DVD2One sucks

try this guide for IC7, and note using the title removal feature does suck but it's easily overcome

Thanks joe444455555. I always burn at 1x, so I could be doing something else wrong. But until a couple of weeks ago I always burned XVCD. So I still had all that software on my machine. Then I installed different trials on my PC for DVD work. Think that may have been where the problem was. Started having some other PC issues as well. So I'm in the process of a fresh install of OS and just a few trials I want to check out. Hopefully, that will take care of it.

MackemX, I'll check out that guide as well. I also dl'd DVDShrink and was taking a look. I used it to strip a couple of TV eps I had and it seems to work nicely. But I haven't burned them yet. So hopefully this weekend everything will come together...

    Thanks Guys!

  6. I've had the same problem.. It didn't matter on the Media Quality. 2X burns just don't work right using IC to burn.... I now use PDItool to extract the files from the image and burn it with RecordNow Max.. Works perfectly everytime...

  7. Thanks everyone. I did a clean install and still had the same issues. I also tried DVDShrink, but had program errors and couldn't ever get it to complete. So I've decided to give up on IC7 and have switched to DVD Toolbox, using Nero to burn at 2x. Not a single problem after about a dozen back ups.

    Thanks again for the suggestions.
