The list of changes says that the "CD Image File Recorder" concept is now supported, but what does this actually mean? It appears in the list of drop down recording devices and can be selected, but you cannot enable it for burning. I thought it might have allowed a .ISO file to be created instead of .cue/.bin, but perhaps I'm missing something obvious here.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

I had exactly the same question and exactly the same experience. This option doesn't seem to be enabled.
VCD always burned a bin and cue file to one's harddrive, so I was hoping that this would burn an .img or .iso.
