Seeing as how that SW trailer thread was a gold mine I thought I would strike while the iron was hot..

So, does anyone have or know where I can find good quality indiana jones trailers? All the sources I have uncovered to date are the same old crappy real movie 900KB files that look like crap if they are resized to anything other than 80x60

Again, any help is always appreciated!!

Laserdiscs are cool, but laserdiscs on DVD-Rs are cooler.

    Cool! Thanks!

In case anyone is wondering I am going to make a dvd of just star wars trailers and one of indy trailers and other "making of" type materials--if anyone knows of this type of stuff for indy--fell free to give me a heads up!

Making of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', The (1981) (TV)
Great Movie Stunts: Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) (TV)
Making of 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom', The (1984) (TV)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: A Look Inside (1999) (TV)

    Thanks again!

  6. I have the making of raiders of the lost ark in my Indiana Jones boxset on laser. However I do not have a capture card. You can buy some dvd's which are rips of the laserdisc - not sure if they contain the making of though

  7. You might want to put your project on hold.....

The Indiana Jones Trilogy on DVD is possibly scheduled for retail sale during the 4th Quarter of 2003. It rumored that it will contained a ton of bonus footage and trailers of course.

ps Don't know about the org trailers but on the DVD's of the Indy flicks I made off the THX Widescreen I put the trailers from that on as a sewlectable spec feature. Not the org but better than nothing, and good quality.

I read that indy is coming out on dvd but i also read that lucas and spielberg want to release one per year to coincide with indy 4. So at this point it is still just speculation i guess. I found some trailers and stuff but i guess it wasn't collected as fervently as the star wars stuff

What's the deal with Indy 4?
We in the UK heard the original script was dropped after it was leaked on the web, is this true?
Is there any release date for it yet?
Surley old man Ford can't be playing the lead?!??!

home of conjecture, speculation and hearsay:

    www.theraider.net
    www.theindyexperience.com

summer 2005, dvd's reported to be either october of this year if the studio has their way or one a year beginning next year if spielberg and lucas have their way. Also, it is reported that after the dvd's are done--INDY WILL STILL SHOOT FIRST in raiders
