Have you tried to burn with nero using this method, works for me.

HOW TO BURN A MORE COMPATIBLE DVD WITH NERO (DVD-ROM UDF/ISO)

    1.open nero and close wizard
    2.in new compilation choose DVD(obvious),dvd-rom(udf/iso)
3.under iso tab choose only iso level1 and iso9660 (tick these boxes, leave others blank)
4.under udf tab tick the force compatibility mode box and this greys out the physical
    partition portion(this is ok)
5.hit the new button at the left hand side and drag and drop your VIDEO_TS and
AUDIO_TS(empty folder) to your new compilation
6.hit the burn button and when the dialogue box appears(to set write speed etc) hit write.
7.YOU should now have a disk that should play on your set top dvd player.
WHEN I DO THIS I CAN GET THE DISKS I DO TO PLAY ON MANY SET TOP BOXES AND PS2'S.
THE ONLY TIME I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED PROBS IS WITH PLAYERS THAT AREN'T MULTI-REGION.I also
use the latest version of nero when available.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Are you using a decent brand of dvd-r? PS2 can be quite picky with media.
RealaT Bytes, but that's what life is.

  4. No, it's not the media.
Any other movie copied with nero and the same media works.
But when i do something with dvd2one, it's causing problems.

  5. after DVD2one finished did you reopen in IFO edit and get VTS sectors, this has solved many chapter point and start up problems with DVD2ONE for me.
    Thanks alot,

  6. Nope,

Never tought about that. It isn't mentioned in any guide, so I tought that it wasn't needed.
I'm trying dvdjet's methode now. If that doesn't do it, i willl try IFOedit.

Oh yeah. On other players the copies doesn't have any problems, only on my ps2 and on a JVC 522

  8. Ifoedit is not the solution.

The story is getting a little bit more wierd.
I've ripped the movie in ifo mode.

Ifo-edited it. Still no go on my ps2
But a go on the jvc 522
