    How can I change the placement (vertical) of subtitles?
    Is it possible to do it with IfoEdit?

    Generally speaking the subtitles are stored as graphics and transparent backgrounds that are superimposed(sp) on the video picture. That is you can't move them.

    The only way I can think to do this, is to rip all the subtitles to bmp files (eg. subrip), then move all the text up a few lines, save the new bmp's, then re-author the DVD with the new subtitles.

    Sorry, anyone have any better ideas?!

    you can move subtitles with Virtualdub + Vobsub filter.
