I was wondering if anyone has one of these and is it worth it? I really like making my own labels and print them as high quality as I can from my printer.... It would be cool if I could print directly to my DVD and it looked like it was made that way...
Thanks for input!

In the long run.... NO!
It get very expensive! So are the Thermal ones too! Unless you are doing professional duplication stick with your Shapie!

Joe328, I don't want to seem rude, but I disagree, labels, by their very nature, are destructive to the media they're attached to, just an added liability.. the Casio CW-50 or the TDK LPCW-50 (same models, just different companies.. same cartridges work in both) will print perfect pictures and/or text in one colour, depending on the cartridge installed (Blue, Silver, Black or Red..)
You get about 40 - 45 prints per cartridge, which I believe are sub $10 in the US.. here in Europe around 12 euro..
Prints in about 6 seconds..

A thread I put together @ cdrbase.com forums, with an overview from a home user (myself..)

Aplogies to dvdrhelp admins if there is an ethical problem with linking to cdrbase, considering their past.. but the board seems to persue legitimate software use at the moment..
