Strange problem with virtual dub and subs

I´m having a very weird problem(at least for me) with virtual dub.I have 2 movies in xvid and i have subs for them.I tried in bsplayer,radlight and the subs are perfectly syncronized with the movie.Then i converted the subs to ssa,tried to permanently add them to the movie using virtual dub,but the result was a movie with subs...but not syncronized.I tried with different subs for each movie and obtained the same result...Can someone help me?i have no idea why this is happening!

You can use this method if you are converting to vcd,svcd or dvd.

if you want to convert to divx/avi you can also that method, in tmpgenc close the wizard, open the video and choose file->output to file->avi and save as divx or whatever avi codec.
