    I have downloaded a movie in tar format and i was wonderin what is the best way to convert it to svcd. I am new at this i do have tmpgenc and there is no way to use it for this that I know of.
    Any ideas to help me?

    Also can anyone pm me on where to download good movies?

    i think tar are compressed files. you need to decompress them. try winrar.
