Ok, I read most of the threads about converting .ogm files to .avi and none of them solves my problem. I followed the “decompress.exe” method to get the file to avi, but it created a film with English audio and no subtitles. (I want to make the film have English subtitles and Japanese audio.) So I used Graph Edit to get 2 separate out puts, the audio and video. The Audio is fine; it’s just the video that I can’t get. This is what the video part looks like so far:
This works but only problem is that the file size is too big. When I connect the “Video 0” and the “Subtitle 3” to the Subtitle Mixer it automatically adds a DivX Decoder Filter which messes up the speed the film flows as well as the size. I tried adding a video compressor after the Subtitle Mixer to shrink the size but it degrades the quality and the speed the film flows still lags…What do I have to do to get avi video with English subtitles?
