    I hope this is the right forum, but I couldn't find any really matching this problem.

    I have a standard 352x240 VCD mpeg1 video that plays just fine with software players. But when I watch it on my standalone the aspect gets messed up and people appear slim and so on. Does anyone know this problems and has a solution?

    Nor I finally found out what I'd done wrong. The output aspect ration in TMPGEnc was set to 1:1 ...

    Is there any way to fix this besides completely encoding the mpeg again?
